jmitch94
I saw it today up close and many of the balconies on the lower floors had furniture and plants. A good sign if you ask me.

I hope that ALL of the apartments in downtown have high occupancies and drive successful lifestyles for those living there and successful businesses for the building owners.
gmac
Hey! A 570sf studio for only $1800! Nice looking building, though.
Texasota
To be fair, that's quite a large studio. This thing seems to have a decent set of amenities as well.
dml423
And that price is probably before any concessions. I would imagine the price would be reduced by a couple hundred dollars.
Popular Post ChannelTwoNews
For some reason, it's not letting me post photos of the upper level pool I've taken from the street. It's definitely fun to look up and see people just swimming over to the edge and then lingering for a while to enjoy the view. I've used a couple of different hosting sites but they just keep blurting an error when trying to link to this post. Maybe posting the link will work... http://imgur.com/a/0LoS1 http://imgur.com/a/Wd4vX Edited January 26, 2017 by ChannelTwoNews

Sorry, monarch, but you'd only love it if you're really easily entertained - it's still pretty much just a bunch of empty ground floor retail space.

I bet the worst that happens is that the owners of the tower ask them to remove it, or be sued. 11 hours ago, JoninATX said: Thanks for the video, but talk about some 007 James Bond type place. That tower is heavily guarded. On the one hand, the residents are paying lots of money, so I'd suspect they expect safety. On the other hand, they'll probably be using this as a training video and security is going to get a little stiffer. even though these people aren't exactly who the staff are trying to keep away.

Luminare
It made it onto ArchDaily. Of course because of the pool not the building itself. H-Town Man
Wow, just saw the pool featured on the front of msn.com. Unless I have some cookie that indicates I like Houston things, that's some pretty nice pub! Still amazed that there aren't pools like this already.
Naviguessor
There have been pools like this for decades, actually. First one I saw was in Melbourne, Australia in 1996. So, it's not new. What may be new about this one is the height above the ground...and that someone filmed it in a creative manner and posted it.
BeerNut
Usually when I hear about pools like this I'm figuring it's some hotel in Asia.
