It was super fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but omg my friend got suuuUuUUuuUUuuUuuper drunk on all the free samples of liquor...let's put it this way, he doesn't remember leaving while screaming to the Amazon driver leaving Post that he loves Amazon and then trying to do parkour (very poorly) until we got to my jeep...

thankfully i got it all on video 🤪haha!

so fun though to see this place buzzing and alive...dang it's such a cool place and wish they would just do these markets in the parking lot on the regular!

Oh yay! I saw they appeared to be getting ready over the weekend- couldn’t exactly tell what they were up to!

Exciting! I’ll have to give them a try next time I’m there!

(if I don’t end up just going to chop n blok again lol!!!)

not to encourage drinking to excess, but if you regret drinking too much on the same day, you're not drinking enough.

...unless of course, it is to regret not having drank more.

I figure if you can remember drinking the next day, you didn't really get that drunk.

As reported several weeks ago, Johnny Good Burgers, a concept from FAM Hospitality, is *temporarily filling in (could be permanent) the space previously home to The Butcher's Burger at 401 Franklin St.

FAM Hospitality is introducing another new restaurant concept to Post Market in the coming weeks. A hiring post indicates Pasta Shop is opening in the food hall soon.

Went for yoga one day and then their flea market on another with the kid and family over the last three weeks and I don't think there should be any handwringing about their ability to succeed. You had people looking at the art exhibit, the food hall was nutty, they were just absolutely packed by 11:45am, and yoga was ridiculously packed.

They clearly have a long way to go to fill in the empty storefronts with things like maybe grocers and butchers or some indoor axe throwing thing or some indoor kids play business, but they are attracting a ton of people on the weekends. I say they need to add that because I think there needs to be some complimentary "things to do" once you eat and hang out for a while on the roof. An adult attraction and a kids attraction would serve well, there were clearly parents who wanted to stay but the kids were antsy and there were adults without kids who wanted to continue the vibe and were kinda done with the roof but there wasn't an activity based business to keep them there. I can see why certain food stores might not work, but even Golfstromen (which was great, but its much more expensive than some of the other restaurants) was busy on both weekends. Stunning, tbh, and a lot of fun.

they definitely need to make more use of the rooftop garden...add a bar and refreshment stand and then have more live music regularly at the little kooky stage they have up on the north east side of the roof!

ps: we got pizza in da house!

A “Lil’ Stinker” pie with a side of chili oil and a beer.

I was there last weekend and there were, ice cream, regular drinks, and a bar set up on the rooftop, though they seemed more like temporary things, not permanent shops. Maybe they are moving towards your suggestion because there was live music (well, a DJ, but close enough) there as well.

Is that an orange jello shot?

Another new food and beverage addition is coming soon to Post Houston's market and food hall Post Market.

The Alley is a trendy milk tea / bubble tea shop with locations in several countries. This will be the Alley's second Houston area location. One opened at Katy Grand in Katy in the fall.

Ramen Moto is now open at POST, btw.

I went today, expecting to give the pizza a try, but- as I predicted- I ended up going back to Chop n blok again lol (can you blame me though? It’s so good.)

There were people doing some kind of employee training at The Alley, so I’m guessing they’re fixing to open soon.

I haven’t seen any buildout starting for Common Desk yet- anyone know where in POST it’s going to be, exactly?

Not a late-in-the-day April Fools Day prank, is this? 🤔

I plan to go to the Via Colori fest tomorrow. It looks like it’ll be lit.

I did go to Via Colori this weekend and it was pretty fun! Not as big of a turnout as i expected but seriously always love going to Post HTX now! The Post Market food hall was alive and kicking with LOTS of people...so that was good...when friends and i go,  I tend to get the something called The Basic here which is far from that:

https://www.posthtx.com/eat/whisk-crepes-cafe

and my buddy i go with often goes here, especially for the crab rolls:

anyway, as i have said before, it is always fun to go to Post HTX and will keep watching for cool events!

I don't think I saw anyone post about this here (and if it was, my bad), but Post Market, the food hall and market portion at Post Houston, added a Cajun and Viet-Cajun restaurant.

Crazy Cajun opened at 401 Franklin St in mid-March. There is another outpost in northwest Houston at 13280 Northwest Fwy.
