Unofficial groundbreaking? Maybe for one of the developments? Utilities and Paving plans are bidding the 3rd week of June I believe. Hopefully that means that by end of July, we will see a ton more activity out here to set the infrastructure needed for Phase I.

It's going to take them a long time to reach that area. I think its like Phase 4 or 5. Probably a 5-10 years down the road.
77011transplant
With the redevelopment they have planned at Tony Marron park, I think this will be a great location for this kind of development. jmitch94
Looks great. I'd definitely make use of this but people will be pissed when they eventually rip it up.

Houstonian4Life
Looks like soil testing maybe? Also a lot of activity where that shipping container is which I think is on Phase 3 off of Clinton and Bayou St.
Popular Post Naviguessor
Several new updates in the Retail Leasing Brochure, a few new renderings and views and glimpses more of Phase 1 as well as Phase 2, if you look close. Slight update to the central Plaza and Traffic plan. Seems to me that Building F has move a bit north, away from the Bayou, and has squeezed the small stand alone Plaza Pavilion out. It is, also, indicated which retail spaces are "in negotiation". East River 9 & Riverhouse are now shown on the Masterplan. https://eastriverhtx.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/210628-East-River-Retail-Brochure.pdf

Naviguessor
There is a marine construction company setting up in that area as well, for bulkhead work and bank stabilization.

arche_757
Flooding was partly the reason San Antonio built the River Walk. Obviously they don’t know how to flood like we do!

From what I've seen from other businesses most are almost instantaneous but I would expect them to get plan review requests in a few weeks early. hindesky
Hard to see thru the shrubbery but there is a barge doing shore pilings on the East End's river bank.

I just walked through there this morning and noticed the same thing. Do you go through those paths on your bike? A portion of the path is unpaved through there, and it gets a bit rough.

I've been further east in the past and yes it becomes a dirt trail. First time I rode I felt uncomfortable because it looked like a homeless encampment. This time I saw several people walking with dogs and 1 bike rider so it felt much more comfortable. I always get off at Talente Bilingue because 2 sets of people have been mugged with guns for their bikes, phones and wallets near Clayton Homes. East of Jensen along the bayou is fine, though parts are unpaved still. Never had any problems. West of Jensen near Clayton Homes is not great, as noted.
