I like the idea of placing a brewery catty corner from Toyota Center’s main entrance.

In addition to the CNP block (277), Id think block 291 has just as much potential being sandwiched in between Discovery West and Root Memorial Square Park, across Toyota Center. Would love it if we can eventually get a neighborhood developed filled with ground floor restaurant and retail surrounding the arena and park. And if Tillman goes forward with a Toyota Center renovation, a massive floor to ceiling glass wall facing the park and downtown neighborhood would be awesome…

Sports mixed use development projects are something it feels like all teams are doing lately, the Astros poised to be the next team soon with the Home Plate site. Would be cool if Tillman could get with block 277 or 291 and add to the development with Discovery West.

Now we just need someone to build out the block just to the west and spare the office workers in downtown of the embassy. Isn't that Skanska's block also?

Yes. Through extensive geopolitical analysis (analyzing a photo for 5 mins) its clear that Skanska has indeed encircled the Embassy Suites, taking a move out of the playbook of the Ottoman Empire who successfully encircled Constantinople. Embassy Suites does have one ally, it seems, in this fight who could render them aid (keep their block underdeveloped for views of Embassy Suites), and that is the power company one block over with their substation. Clever maneuver because attaching ones self to a long lasting authority in the region will ensure its continued safety (visibility)

Unsubstantiated rumor has it that Embassy is also trying to acquire nuclear weapons as a "deterrent" to further "hegemonic encroachment".  In an official statement today, Embassy officials said that any attempts to close the Dallas and La Branch supply corridors would be considered an act of war and met with "overwhelming" force.  Direct talks have been stalled recently due to border incursions by Skanska, including an incident yesterday where a surveillance drone flew into Embassy airspace.
