Is this something that is unique to Houston? I always feel like any buildings that we have with lighter colored stone turn black and I don't see it in other cities. When we lived in London in the early 70's, many of the buildings were dark colored. I went back a few years after they cleaned the buildings, and they were absolutely gorgeous.
