That's cutting it close. I also have the nagging suspicion they will ditch a few of the more high-end architectural frills to keep the cost within budget. It's about to get crazy amazing downtown! It's easy to say Houston is leading right now in urban development and growth in TX. The same palms & lighting will also be used on Main from Polk to Lamar to essentially connect the 2 projects (only section of Main to have palms). Southbound Main at Block 256 will be closed to become a plaza as well.Will be fun times at this intersection in the new year. IIRC Hotel Valencia also starts construction around the same time as Main & Dallas street enhancements. And we have Hilcorp tower going up & Spring Hill Suites renovation.
