toxtethogrady
Closer...closer... I'm only going to point out once that the BHP Billiton tower went up in 12 months, while this thing has been potzering around for longer...
cspwal
I was reminded by Facebook this morning that one year ago today, they were clearing out the lot for the parking - and an excavator was sitting on top of a pile of dirt. So I guess it only seems like it's taking forever

Excavation took forever, they were still digging by summer last year. So yeah, this one is moving like molasses

jmitch94
I know this is wood framing but once it is done this should be a good addition to that side of town.
cspwal
It'll be way better than a parking lot that's for sure

nativehoustonion
This midrise has taken forever to build. They should have built up. In July 2012 in New York the 432 Parke Ave. 89 floors was started in July 2012 and is already topped out. This started in June 2013 with 5 floors. Did they find roaches! Hehe! houstontexasjack
Is there a 4-man crew working this or something? I wonder how long it will take to put the interior finishes on this.

hindesky
is it an underground parking garage?Yes, that is part of the reason the build has taken so long but seems to be going pretty fast now.

asubrt
Apparently they are much better with wood than concrete. That's a cool pic, being able to see the layout of the apartments on the parts that aren't covered yet.
Luminare
Apparently they are much better with wood than concrete. That's a cool pic, being able to see the layout of the apartments on the parts that aren't covered yet. Wood is always faster than concrete There is sooooo much that can go wrong with concrete! Nobody has taken into account that they might have had a lot of delays due to the rain that we have been having. I know that there are many projects that couldn't even get off the ground because they couldn't pour due to weather conditions.
