CSPWAL since they are adding retail and residences out in front of the tower on three sides of the catalyst I believe that there will be a wonderful vibe down there. If you haven't been able to get down in front of Minute Maid and get that sense of space that has been created you owe it to yourself

to go down and walk amongst the bald cypresses and the nice limestone walls of the Fingers project. It has a really nice feel to it.

Market Square is going to be electric when both of the towers on the corners get finished landscaped and lighted. It will be like a magnet to come down to Market Square and eat at any one of the outdoor spaces and take in the urban core. The view from Barnaby's of the Aris and the James Surls is already amazing.

That side of minute maid has defintely become one of the nicer sides because it is built up on both sides.  The narrow part between Union station and the building feels dense, and the pocket baseball diamond park that's outside feels really neat now

I simply love this project. Building the whole block? Hiding the garage? Integrating live/work spaces on the street level?

Kudos to this group. The architecture isn't the best but of all the new apartment towers built this cycle, this one knocks it out of the park with adding to the street fabric the best IMO.

^^^^^ how were these shot?  Drone?

that building next to the Magnolia is just begging for redevelopment.

There is a parking garage adjacent to 609 main that is 9 stories tall.  Just walk in, take the elevator up and snap away :)

Nice pics here!! The Federal Detention Center makes for a great conversion project. Just needs a new facade and large windows to get rid of the anonymous look.

They could just clad the whole thing in glass like the Federal building - it would look like a mid-rise office building instead of a jail, and they wouldn't actually have big windows that you could escape through
