Twinsanity02
Now that Gator Purify mentions it, one of the things that puzzles me about Houston with its near Tropical climate is the number of darkish buildings and houses and roofs. It seems a more southern Spain or Greece light color buildings would work better in terms heat reflection. I guess it all comes out to what sells.

Sunstar
In reality, the next SkyHouse will probably be the next major project to finish downtown, which is amazing since they started so much later than some of these other projects.

brijonmang
Awesome angle, just need to time it up with the train and you'll be getting people to double take when you tell them it's Houston.

Popular Post HoustonIsHome
Two years ago, you would have gotten off at Bell station and would be surrounded by 4 surface lots.

HoustonIsHome
Love the photo. Imagine a couple more apartment/condos in that area. Waiting on the FairfieldWell there are the two down near St Joseph s hospital plus the two that Camden keep pushing back. A rejuvenated days Inn would do wonders for the Transit center district. I wonder if the owners own the entire block. If so what would they do to the surface lot? It's like surface parking attached to a parking podium. astros148
they gotta do something with the surface lots right across the street. they have the station right there and should be prime spots for a high rise or even a small office building in the 30 story range. something here then the empty lots

bobruss
How many brick masons do they have working on this? It's really painful to watch how slow they are progressing.
cspwal
I think they have 2 or 3. Â They are working on the sidewalk on main right now, so that may delay the masonry work - can't do two things at a time
Twinsanity02
They need something medicinal to get things flowing. Seem plugged up. To use an Abe Lincoln expression ( when speaking of George McClellan) , they have "the slows" .
