Not exactly. They would close Rosalie similar to the Morgan Whole Foods project.

when people need to detour off of Gray to get around something, it really helps to have Webster and Hadley intact.  These streets don't go all the way from Fourth Ward over across 288 like it does, but connect almost as well.  The city or the management district should recognize, especially if Whole Foods has made this the development epicenter, that they don't need to give up streets here to help Midtown develop anymore.

After Rosalie, we'd have only Anita and McGowen for cross-street rights of way to serve as grid distributors.  That holds true all the way from Elgin to Hadley-Webster-Gray, because too many have been severed already.

The modifications are incredibly light. Like bare minimum. Definitely looks temporary in order to get the most out of the land until something else happens. With how extensive remodels for new restaurants on old buildings have been throughout the area, this just screams temporary.

Who applied for the permits on the yellow sheet on the door.? That might explain who and what they are doing. It definitely looks as though there is going to be some kind of drive thru window. Could even be a pharmacy. Lots of options.

Yeah a developer has to flip these plots whenever they can...like bacon. Nobody likes burned bacon. Definitely not burned Mexican Food either...Its late I don't know what I'm saying anymore. Bascially we should expect this to not see any action for awhile in my opinion.

Used to be Van Loc - workers were painting some kind of circular design on the outside yesterday. Anyone know what this is going to be? Anyone smarter than me able to find out :) ?

Check out on the Going Up section. Right now it's going to be a restaurant called " Ola H.....?"

This is ridiculous. This lot had the opportunity to really connect the area surrounding the Whole Foods and spur new development where those empty shopping centers are. We waited all this time with proposal after proposal for a damn drive thru restaurant.

Maybe if we stare at the circles long enough, we'll "feel" connected to the area
