this development looks so strange to me and not sure exactly why! maybe how different the lower stainless steel tupperware container building looks compared to the base and angled supports on the taller adjacent tower?...who knows haha! but everytime i ride my bike by it i find myself staring at it in wonder so i guess that is a good thing 🤪

The renderings on their website show the base of the tower looking like stainless steel tupperware, too. 🤷‍♂️https://residencesattheallen.com

News story from NBC Nightly News Tonight (Saturday 10/02). A major interview is with Robert Contreras who is overseeing the project. Great story for Houston and includes some cool shots of the project as well :)

Very cool story about Houston, but what is with the reporter's pronunciation of "entrepreneur"????  (The accent is NOT supposed to be on the second syllable.)

There are two reddit posts from this bridge, and the amount of hate this building is getting is remarkable.

Can always look at it somewhat philosophically. People are going to hate something, it seems to be in our DNA. Hating buildings is fairly harmless. I can't stand the Tour Montparnesse in Paris due to its location, but still love Paris. One can adjust.
