richfish
Judging by how the Cosmo garage turned out, I'm willing to bet the Randall Davis reality will be much, much less suave than the rendering.

Texasota
there has to be some way for visitors, cabs, deliveries to come and go. There are ways to provide for that without cutting the building's front door off from the sidewalk.
richfish
There are ways to provide for that without cutting the building's front door off from the sidewalk. I think that will probably become an extra lane on Post Oak when they do the widening for the bus lanes in a few years. I see they went vertical on the west side of the site today driving back from work.

brijonmang
Lamborghini at a McDonalds drive thru...LOL Well if I had spent $200K+ on a car, I'd be stuck on the dollar menu for a long long time
HoustonIsHome
Lol, the McDonald's lot is so much bigger. That's suburbanism for you, a business where half the customers don't even exit their cars.
richfish
Does anyone know what color the building is actually supposed to be? The model makes it appear to be white?

bobruss
It seems like it took forever to get out of the ground. This will be fun to watch all three going up from this view.Hanover, Billiton, and Astoria. Thanks for the updates Skyline View!
swtsig
Hopefully we'll see 3-4 more cranes in the not too distant future for the gables/perennial apt/hotel and office and for the belfiore condo.
bobruss
swtsigI know we are a little off topic but since you brought up the other ones I didn't notice you mention Apache.I know I read somewhere on here that Apache might not build on the site next to The Blvd. project.I hope this isnt so. It looked like a really nice design and would have really filled the gap.Have you or anyone else heard anything positive about this project?
ChannelTwoNews
Haven't been to a mat pour in a while, but you're right that they are quite a spectacle. Great photos btw. 2014 01 18: Big day.

richfish
Thank SkylineView, you're the best. Maybe I'm partial since I live here, but Uptown is really getting a great mix of residential/commercial/retail to become the gem of the city over the next decade. SkylineView
I'm pumped that uptown has a condo tower (Astoria), apartment tower (Blvd), commercial tower (BHP), retail dev (Blvd), and hotel (West Alabama) all going up at once. Variety is the spice of life. Interesting times in H-Town.

uscats35
I would like to see some entertainment options to make it more of a 24 hour area. I think a bowling alley, live theater venue and others entertainment choices should come next.
