That sign is....underwhelming....

I was kind of hoping for something striking, maybe similar to House of Blues signage in Downtown.  This doesn't even look straight...

They purchased one of the nicest looking developments in all of Houston and in a great location. I would really like to see a building like this downtown..but even taller.

I envision high rises replacing the shopping centers on Kirby...one by one.

Isn't that already the name of the complex down the street at Kirby and Westheimer???  I guess that one is Arrive River Oaks and this one will be Arrive Upper Kirby...

I've always thought they should change the circular area facing Kirby into a pedestrian courtyard with landscaping that restaurants can open out onto, etc. No cars driving through there at all. They put a lot of effort into making an architectural statement with this outdoor space, but then what's it programmed for? ...Drive thru/valet drop off...

A new dining tenant is coming soon to the Shops at Arrive Upper Kirby (formerly known as the Kirby Collection).

According to What Now Houston, à restaurant and nightclub/lounge named Se7en is leasing a unit within the retail portion of the development.

Se7en's estimated opening is this fall, possibly late October or November, at 3300 Kirby Dr, Ste B.

A few details from the article:

"An upscale supper club is in the works for the heart of River Oaks in Houston. Se7en, pronounced Seven, will offer a high-end, glamorous ambiance with Asian-inspired cuisine offering French, Mediterranean flavors."
