nativehoustonion Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Very nice park. Cool layout, the music was fun and everybody was dancing in front of the stage. I have never seen so many dogs! Good food, nice landscaping. 3 Quote
KinkaidAlum Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 What a great place. Walked over with my Mom who lives across Richmond and the place was packed. The play scape was amazing with tunnels, slides, and more plus a water feature. Also loved all of the great places for adults to sit and the lending library, board game cart, and art cart were really nice perks. When the restaurants open I bet this place will be packed with parents able to drink/eat on a patio while the kids play. 4 Quote

ArtNsf Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 what a beautiful park and wonderful views. the designers and architects should be very proud of this development and attached park. I'm sure the community is elated to have this new amenity available to all ! 2 Quote

j_cuevas713 Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 (edited) Hopefully this forces Upper Kirby District to build wider sidewalks from Kirby to the park. The foot traffic at Market Square Park gets crazy with Niko Nikos. There's just no way a restaurant like that can survive without good sidewalks. Edited May 18, 2018 by j_cuevas713 2 Quote

Highrise Tower Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 Noticed this on Loopnet. 2828 Southwest Fwy - Four Points by Sheraton Greenway Plaza https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/2828-Southwest-Fwy-Houston-TX/23923870/ The Property is situated on 2.38 acres (103,569 square feet) of land, presenting a rare opportunity for a developer with flexibility to reposition or redevelop the Property into a different asset type. Alternatively, a new hotel investor will have the opportunity to realize the significant upside of acquiring and renovating an asset in a highly desirable submarket, substantially below replacement cost. 1 Quote
IntheKnowHouston Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 (edited) Money Cat, a modern Japanese restaurant, is coming to the Kirby Grove mixed-use development. The restaurant's address is 2925 Richmond Ave, Suite 140. According to its Instagram bio, Money Cat will also serve sushi. I don't know for certain who (or who all) is involved. I think it's a new project from the group behind Tobiuo, the Japanese restaurant in Katy. It's probable CultureMap will have details about this soon. I love Tobiuo (though haven’t gotten to check out Kanau yet- iirc it’s the same head chef?), it is my personal favorite sushi place, so I’m completely thrilled to see what they’re cooking up 3 Quote

He shared a photo on Instagram of a unit under construction in October, but didn't provide what he's working on or where despite comments inquiring about the location. But a recent filing indicates Money Cat restaurant is planned for Kirby Grove. I suspect Money Cat's publicist will send press releases to local publications early 2022 announcing the new project.
