  1. It's about to get crazy amazing downtown! It's easy to say Houston is leading right now in urban development and growth in TX. And a solid vibrant downtown is a must if this city sees itself progressing as it should.
  2. This side of downtown is really starting to get its act together thanks to the downtown living initiative. There just seems to be a better balance aesthetically.
  3. This project is going to bring a lot of great development around it. Perfect spot in Montrose too!
  4. So this is a really stupid question, I know, but is this a for sure thing because it would be so amazing for this part of Montrose? Along with the new residential happening a few blocks away.
  5. Oh God, so pretty soon we are going to have to deal with people from dallas!?
  6. I think I'm more excited about this development than Hines... Just because it removes more surface parking
  7. That's why I asked... because earlier in the thread there were posts about the Hines development
  8. Ahh ok sorry, I'm trying to keep up with everything and its hard because so much is happening all at once. But that's awesome, glad they are keeping it. So has this thread merged with the Hines development?
  9. Hold on a sec, I got confused for a bit... So this building is taking over the old Kim Son garage? And construction has already started?
  10. I mean it doesn't have to be this amazing design, its just basic living. These are the kind of developments that I wouldn't mind lining the streets, with ground floor retail of course.
  11. Wow this is awesome! I mean this development could really help begin to clean the area up a bit. Look at the bright side guys, I've been to Chicago a few times, and what we see on this corner is nothing compared.
  12. This is really gonna be a nice building when its complete... Its almost like an entrance in to midtown
  13. The overall design isn't bad, but there are some elements that could be adjusted or eliminated all together. I'm in design, and after a project, whenever we go back and look at what we just finished, say the next day, we usually find flaws that in the moment we thought were brilliant. It's all part of the creative process, and I'm sure these designs will be adjusted along the way.
  14. So whats happening with the building across, is it part of MATCH?
