thatguysly 1173
I have to stare at this mess every day at work.  I feel like the renderings were a sham.  I was excited for a while but now that the paint color and design are so much different, I can't stand it.  I hate the weird silver are the top with the obvious and random door,  It makes no since to have such a different color then the rest of the building.  The weird designs at the bottom seem off.  I have watched them paint over them and redo them many times.  It would look slightly better if the left he alternating ray and white stripes to the bottom over the solid gray block they settled on.  If I had bought a unit in this building I would feel ripped off.   I agree the bigger windows would be better all the way down and if it was not so horribly asymmetrical.
cloud713 4038
Some of the units cost $7 million? Wow..As for the "one unit left", I thought there was only 1 unit left months back, in some excerpt posted by Urb I believe.

Montrose1100 3722
The design (as we know), is poor. It's the amount of blank walls that really sets this above and beyond terrible.

Montrose1100 3722
This project leaves me concerned for Arabella and Marlowe.Marlowe will be a smaller rectangle Cosmopolitan. I think the Cosmo is kind of cute sans the giant podium garage. Arabella seems to be a new venture because as Navi pointed out, no theme. Just looks modern.

InTheLoopFromNYC 75
The last photo above presents this POS in the best possible light by hiding the garish ornamentation (Trump would be proud), downplaying the exterior treatment of the tower, and also hiding the ridiculous pyramid at the top. The Arabella leaves me with some hope based on the renderings that have been released, but with Randall Davis, the architectural bar is low.

Montrose1100 3722
A shame he didn't do something will all that blank wall space. I suppose it blends the tackiness of 1200 Post Oak with the bolder styles of 4 Oaks, BHP, and the Cosmo.
bobruss 4988
You have to look at it with the traffic signal in last pic to balance out the two Davis's bldg.s, just saying. The Traffic signal reminds me of a mask in one of Picasso's paintings, Perhaps "Les Demoiselles de Avignon", in some kind of composition .Nice shot!
