Is the hole shallower?  Or is that an optical illusion with the new dirt?

 

It looks like they are leveling it out, but its certainly no shallower.  They are still chipping away around the edges on old foundations that were uncovered as they dug.

^^^ rich.. plush.. posh. interior design.. along with a media / theater room that is to die for.  if i have stated it once i shall state it again... the overall financial budget for this particular development must be AMAZING.  however, i just hope that THE STAR shall allow in black americans.... :huh:

I absolutely love everything about this project. Historic architecture, apartments, ground floor retail. Looks great.

 

Let's not forget the rail station right across the street...

The stone work on this building looks great, as well as the second story balcony and ornate features. I believe it will look really nice in contrast with the ultra modern look (glass, metal, sharp angles) of the tower that is to be built.

Okay guys, I'm a bit confused and am not caught up with this building...Can anyone please tell me what the foundation is for? For what exactly?
