bobruss
I imagine since it rained so much last night and looking like rain today I'm sure they decided to hold off on the pour today.

wilcal
Have seen lots of police lots running at this intersection over the last week or two. Activity must be continuing. Any updated photos? Edited December 8, 2014 by wilcal

Howard Huge
Took a few pics of the foundation pour... Awfully close to those high line wires with that knuckleboom.I'm assuming those lines were hot, they may have been shut down for all I know. Either way, depending on the voltage, you don't even have to touch the lines sometimes, if the current is strong enough it will arc into anything within a few feet of the lines.

Either way, depending on the voltage, you don't even have to touch the lines sometimes, if the current is strong enough it will arc into anything within a few feet of the lines. I don't think those are power lines. For power, there are usually three lines, as seen to the right above the transformer in one of the pictures. The lines next to the pour look like phone and cable lines, plus some steel cable for supporting other lines.
hindesky
Just drove by the site, the tower crane is up, will take some daylight pics Monday.
SkylineView
Crane is visible from uptown. Also, to clarify re the pour, those lines were phone, not power.
toxtethogrady
I did not take pics over the weekend, but the crane is definitely up and the project is moving ahead. I hope the Colombe d'Or isn't too badly disturbed.

Purdueenginerd
So if money runs short, can you change at this point to 10 levels instead of 30? Just curious about this and all the other ones going up and oil rug out from under. In theory, yes. But its incredibly short-sighted to do so.
