The Eclipse: Proposed Skyscraper At 2000 Persa St.

Recommended Posts

Martha Turner sold a hug block off San Felipe, Spann, and Welch for a 46 story high rise.  It is very quite right now because of the Hines building.  Residents did not like the Hines building.  They will scream if they built this one.  Urbanizzer can find out leaving town tomorrow.

props for sharing.  safe trip!

Do you have the address for this sale? If closing has occurred, a recorded Warranty Deed should appear in the real property records soon. The houses across the street from 2229 San Felipe do not appear as though they would support a 46-story highrise. One of the existing old garden-style apartments just might.

I should add that, given the permitting process for such a structure, it's nature will be disclosed soon enough. In the meantime, color me skeptical (although the strength of our housing and construction market can give pretty much anything a sheen of truth).

Is this some hoax? Ppl in that part of town usually have connections that would tell them about something like this.

I don't know. Do people normally try to rat out developers online? Just have to sit back and see what happens.

Sorry--I am not familiar with the source. In any case, is there a way to check the property records? It does seem like this area generally is ripe for development with the new Hines office tower, Chateau 10, and the Winfield Gate development. Any other possibilities for development in this area or has everything stopped because of the price of oil?

A 750' foot building dubbed Artesian Eclipse is proposed for Welch Ave near Persa St! This area was opposed to San Felipe Place, imagine how they'll feel about this one!

FAA Filing below, the building will not begin construction until June 2017.
