atomant411
does anyone know if any retail space has been leased yet? Nothing has been leased yet to my knowledge. I can ask the leasing office the next time I catch them open.

Triton
Is it much more than a patch if grass? I took this back in July. It's where that little gated area is. Last I checked, it was a grass patch but I can double check again today perhaps. Edit: Looks like it has some benches too. 2014-07-19 13.20.00 by marclongoria, on Flickr Edited September 23, 2014 by Triton

Hopefully the vegetation fills in/ this was just a bad angle with the surface lot front and center? Grizzly46
They should have made the entire top floor of the parking garage a grass field. That would have been awesome. Costly, but awesome.

Moore713
It does seem a large waste of potential green space..I don't get how people who claimed to study urbanism can constantly get the simple things wrong
por favor gracias
Looks like they spent about $20 on that landscaping. Add in all the concrete and that half of the block looks awful IMO.

J Money
Skyhouse always makes me mutter the least enthusiastic "moo." I know it's a great step in transforming DT into a livable neighborhood, but I feel like they could and should do so much better with that land...
monarch
maybe skyhouse could hereby incorporate a few palm trees. something, anything to ease the pain of so much cement.

lockmat
To me, the less green space on the same site as the building, the better. Put it in an entire block or don't put it all. Go to NYC and you don't have green strips of grass in front of buildings. The less grass, the more urban it feels. Add some trees, but stay away from the grass. Keep out the flowers.Make the sidewalks bigger. Keep the parking lots out and build as close to the street as possible and you have the start of a great urban place.
