mollusk
Is there a Farmer's Market downtown on the weekends or a place where people sell stuff they make in stands? There is one on Wednesdays, morning through lunchtime, at City Hall. It's seasonal, though - it's not run during the winter or the height of summer.
cloud713
There's one at.Discovery Green I thought?
Moore713
Think houston should open itself to street merchant. .there are plenty of area still that could be converted to merchant allys
toxtethogrady
It has to be tightly-run. The street vendor situation in Washington, DC, was positively atrocious.
cloud713
Dallas seems to do alright with their "Farmers Market District" and I think the area is even thriving atm with lots of new apartments, ect. I always thought if nothing came of the Post Office site a new market district like that could be developed there. I'm not sure where else around downtown something of that style and scale could be developed. The northeast and southeast sectors are still too seedy for street vending IMO. Though we'll see how that plays out with the new residential in both areas.
jgriff
The "Farmer's Market" in front of City Hall is a joke. At least it was when I last went a few years ago. Just a bunch of people selling useless junk. Most of it was not food related.
nativehoustonion
Just go to Canninos the best market ever off Airline.
toxtethogrady
Is Cannino's what became of Houston's original Farmer's Market from the '70s? I remember my parents and their friends would go co-op on bulk orders of produce from that market, then split them up later.
LarryDierker
Isn't Caninos mostly gorcery store reject and overordered. It's nothing close to a farmers market.

mollusk
Maybe one or two more - the tenant floors start with #12. The break will be easy to see, since the slabs will be placed a bit further apart in the tenant space in order to accommodate 10' finished ceilings.

Montrose1100
Awesome shots as always! This along with BG Group will have such a massive presence from the north and south views. From the east & west south/west it will peer over as a thin bright addition. Is it 2017 yet?
