  1. The kids are going to love this new Commons area. So many new additions, dragonfly, frog, snake, rocket and capsule, climbing structures, slides galore and I think a water feature of some type, possibly a misting tree or fountains from the floor?
  2. Solar powered employee turnstiles and badge readers. If it's anything like in the plants it will stop you if your safety classes aren't up to date or if you have been red badged.
  3. Noticed the construction netting surrounding the entire building. I wonder if it's going to be totally demolished or just an interior demolish. JTB Demolition is on site, they have the capability to do a high rise demolition, they recently did the old Sid Richardson demo. https://www.jtbservices.com
  4. This whole complex looks like pre-assembled modules with the occasional cinder block wall separating them.
  5. I think this is the detention pond being built to handle the stormwater for the two new colleges that will be built at the old Sid Richardson. Wilson House to be moved. Old Sid Richardson.
  6. Work has started on the Susan and Fayez Sarofim Hall. They fenced off the tress they want to protect. Notice the Austin Commercial construction trailers on the bottom right.
  7. The white building next to this is a Randal Davis project, Chateau Ten Sunset. It underwent some stucco repairs the last few years but was finished about 1 year ago. http://www.randalldavis.com/portfolio/single/chateau-ten-sunset
  8. I would like to think they will repave this parking lot before they finish, it's in rough shape.
  9. Houston’s Inman Gallery has confirmed to Glasstire that Kerry Inman has purchased the building at 1502 Alabama St., which was the longtime home of the Station Museum of Contemporary Art. Though there is not a firm timeline for the gallery moving out of its its current location in the Isabella Court building and into the new space, Ms. Inman has said that the gallery is planning a solo show for Darren Waterston in September-October of this year, and that they are “hoping that is [their] last show” in their current space. https://glasstire.com/2024/03/14/kerry-inman-buys-former-station-museum-building-will-move-gallery/
  10. Architect - https://gma-designgroup.com One of the things they design is Specialty/Entertainment which this would fall under. https://gma-designgroup.com/portfolio-2/
  11. The 3 high rise buildings that stopped work at Oceanwide Plaza in Los Angeles. Mural artist come from around the world to tag the buildings. https://www.photopilot.com/blog/oceanwide-plaza-graffiti-art-concrete-canvases-urban-expression-dtla/
  12. The artist of this mural D_Face, the guy on the right. He said he got an early start because he has another project coming up next but said all the other mural artist should be starting next week for the rest of the 8-9 murals.
