  4. North Canal won't be any closer to Warehouse District than Buffalo Bayou already is, its intent is to not let the water back up due to choke points that caused the flooding downtown.
  5. Anything north of Buffalo Bayou and south of the North Beltway 8 seems to be someone's vision of the Heights. 🤷‍♂️
  6. I think one of the hold ups is HFD fire marshal inspected the restaurant and required that they build an outside staircase from the second floor. I saw the marshal last time I went by this project.
  7. Drive Thru menu, it's not open yet but looks like it will be soon.
  8. In order to build the new Administrative and Archives building they had to move a house from its old location to a new location several feet east. It's old location on Google Maps.... It's new location next to DACAMERA.
  9. The detention vault for stormwater will use a black plastic grid system, they first line the bottom with thick plastic sheeting then install the grids. https://www.fergusongss.com/product/r-tank-stormwater-modules/
  10. I talked with a guy who works for Metro, he told the parking garage that used to be here was red tagged and condemned by city inspectors. It looked in very bad shape. As far as the spray on grass, they do that to minimize erosion of the soli until they get ready to build.

  12. It was built like this on purpose, in case of flooding only the garage will flood and not the apartments. Same for the McKee because it's even closer to Buffalo Bayou.
  13. Jeremy McGilvrey's Houston web design agency is the newest business to call the prestigious Williams Tower in the Uptown District in Houston home. The Houston web design company announced that it has signed a long-term lease for office space in the highly sought-after Williams Tower. This new space will house the Houston web design team while helping the company achieve its continued growth goals. The Williams Tower, one of Houston's most prominent office spaces, is a 64-story, 1.4 million square feet class A postmodern office tower located adjacent to the famous Galleria. Jeremy McGilvrey's web design team will call the 56th floor home. "More than ten years ago, our company was started in a tiny studio apartment, so this move into the Williams Tower is an important milestone in our company's history," said Jeremy McGilvrey, founder. "It's a move we're all excited about, as it demonstrates the continued trust that our clients place in us." https://finance.yahoo.com/news/jeremy-mcgilvrey-houston-design-agency-010700799.html
