clutchcity94
This pocket of Montrose — south of Richmond, between Dunlavy and Yupon, is probably my favorite part of Montrose. Edited January 28 by clutchcity94

With such a convenient location, buildings this size should be filling in Midtown, not the lil garden style donuts and the townhomes they are still building

Both sides of Richmond for me, from Shepherd to Spur 527, feel as close as Houston gets to Chicago, with the enclosedish residential streets coming off the main drag. (Still a looong way off, but a boy can dream...)

hindesky
It definitely looks like stucco or white rock/bricks on the upper part.
hindesky
Looks like these apartments have a name, "The Heron Museum District". I noticed a permit for a sign at this location. For Rent.Com has them listed on their website. https://www.forrent.com/tx/houston/the-heron-museum-district/zch37qz Sign permit.
hindesky
I was at the Montrose HEB and noticed the luffing tower crane's boom was stretched out flat, are they going to take it down? Went over to check it out, Maxim has their AT crane set up to remove it. Edited March 27 by hindesky
clutchcity94
If only The Heron was built one block west of its current location (where the Fat Property apartment complex and Texas Pizza are), it could have been called The Heroin. bobruss
Isn't that the truth! Every time I'm stopped at the Hazard light I can see deals going down. I'm surprised something hasn't been done to curtail that problem. It's a wonder there aren't more ambulance stops there.
