Popular Post hindesky Posted August 23, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted August 23, 2023 (edited) Shawn Murphy from Skanska spoke at the Neartown Association meeting tonight. He said they are concentrating on finishing up 1550 On The Green by January and will start then be finalizing plans for their project here. Popular Post hindesky Posted August 23, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted August 23, 2023 (edited) The two recent buildings they built are both LEED Platinum, the Capital Tower/Bank of America and 1550 On The Green and plan to do the same with this project. Shawn Murphy also mentioned that they are self funded. 1 year of planning, 2-3 years for construction. Fronting Westheimer with wide sidewalks all around the project. Mixed use with residential but probably no office building component as of today's market for them. He also said they tried to buy the Disco Kroger property but weren't able to acquire it.
