JBTX
There is work going on in the commercial space along Navigation. Workers appear to be clearing it out, cleaning the windows, painting, etc. Not sure if Archcon is just cleaning up or if someone is about to start build out. Will monitor.

Haven't seen anyone post a buildout permit yet on here from my understanding. Probably cleanup before they turn the keys to ownership.

JBTX
Finishing touches going up with the addition of the signage. Anyone else think the sign is disproportionately small?
Naviguessor
Honestly, no. The best sign is no sign, imo.
Texasota
Wait, signs are bad now? This one in particular seems to be directly above/in front of the leasing office/tenants' lobby, so it actually helps you quickly see where that is as opposed to the retail. Seems just about perfect to me.

I see people and delivery drivers walk around wondering where on earth the entrance is all the time, so, yeah, I think it's in a good spot.
JBTX
A lot of surveyors on site here and on the esplanade across the way today. I wonder if the originally planned Phase II (partial demo and remodel of the building that houses Andes Cafe and the Maritime Museum) is still a go.

Popular Post JBTX
I saw folks installing massive mounting brackets on the center section last week and figured some lights or signage would go up. Didn't expect it would be a giant Ukrainian flag being mounted.

I really do hope Marquette reconsiders and ends up building by the bayou at 400 Jensen. They did a fantastic job on this development. JBTX
They really did, and I agree. I'd love to see one more on Jensen flanking East River. Maybe after Phase 2 is completed. I'm still holding out hope that Phase 2 wasn't scrapped.
IntheKnowHouston
I forgot to include this blurb here last week about EaDo Navigation at 2311 Canal St: Broham, the boutique grocer and market from chef Jonny Rhodes coming next year to the East River development at 100 Jensen, will temporarily operate at 2311 Canal in the coming months. More below: "Broham Fine Soul Food & Groceries...plans to open a temporary 1,270 square-foot location early fall in a nearby building owned by Midway at 2311 Canal Street. Once Phase One construction is complete, the self-sustainable boutique bodega will relocate to their permanent 4,000 square-foot space in The Depot (the ground level of the garage)." https://realtynewsreport.com/east-river-signs-retailers-to-redevelopment

In my opinion that's even better because it's a temporary location for a temporary building. The more infill the better and this means we will get something at the complex and at this location.

You are correct. The complex owned by Marquette is 2404 Navigation. Renovation of 2311 Canal was originally in Marquette's plans, but, we will see. IntheKnowHouston
Updated retail leasing for Forth at Navigation. In the latest brochure, a 4,502 retail unit is available for lease. Details from the brochure: Restaurant opportunity available for lease Available restaurant space: 3,537 sf + 965 sf patio Colliers is the retail leasing agent for the development. Forth at Navigation is located in the Second Ward at 2404 Navigation Blvd. @Urbannizer @Triton if possible, please consider modifying the topic title to the name of this development, including the address. I see from other posts in this topic, others have asked this of moderators as well. Although I typed in "Forth" "Navigation" in the search, this topic wasn't one of the immediate results. It would be helpful for all if those pertinent details were in the title. Such details make it easier to find with the site's search and when using Google's search engine. Naviguessor
should be Quote Should be titled, Forth at Navigation. Fourth & Navigation, sounds like an Intersection, which does not exist.
IntheKnowHouston
@Highrise Tower thanks for changing the title from EaDo Navigation: Apartments By Marquette Companies. Also, thank you for including the address. However, the new title is not completely correct. Instead of Fourth & Navigation: Apartments By Marquette Companies At 2404 Navigation Blvd, it's Forth at Navigation - 2404 Navigation Blvd (All the rest, Apartments By Marquette Companies just makes for a long url. It's not necessary). And as another member noted on the previous page, Forth at Navigation is not in EaDo. This is located in the Second Ward. So, maybe remove the EaDo tag as requested by one of the members on a previous page? On 1/28/2021 at 5:00 PM, thedistrict84 said: While the mods are fixing the name, lets get rid of that "EaDo" tag too and change it to "Second Ward." JBTX
Interesting that they have a Navigation address, but are the Canal-side suite. I know the building has the Navigation address, which is why this place does, but I'm sure it won't create any confusion.
