H-Town Man
I know the odds aren't too good right now, but if we can just get the Marquette building going up, it would be like putting a cherry atop the world's largest sundae.

Montrose1100
Or maybe I have the same model minus the Carmax sticker. Just kidding. It's not hard to tell. Your Porsche is obviously a Cayenne because of how high you are relative to the unfocused light rail. If you were in a sedan or sports car you would be much lower. You can see the interior dash of the car through a sliver of sunlight in that picture above. 1+1=2. Nate99
I thought I remembered it being the Cayenne, but I figured it would be funnier if I pretended not to.

Howard Huge
My bad, block 98 iirc. Next to Hess garage.Ahhh yes, the 40 story slim tower. That too is my most anticipated groundbreaking, Im salivating at the thought of it finished along with the rest of the convention district projects.LargeTexas is right, the convention district, when completed for the Super Bowl, has the potential to be ground zero for all the big city, Manhattan style hustle and bustle that we are all craving for downtown Houston.

arndthwrld82
It looked from the renderings that this would be a block sized base with a tower built on top. But from the above pic it looks like they're building the tower portion from the ground up and building the base separately connected into the tower. Is that what is happening here? Nate99
I think we've become used to the pace of reinforced concrete construction, so it is interesting to watch how fast a steel frame goes up.
