  1. One of my best friends from college (who is an American) moved to Canada a few years ago with his boyfriend who is Canadian. He (my American friend) says it's worth paying the higher taxes to get the health care they have. Now that's just his one opinion... others may feel differently.
  2. Yea but they were then called unpatriotic ... I guess Rush and Hannity and them now hate America and our brave troops who are fighting to keep this great Nation safe.
  3. I watched them and really enjoyed them... Hugh Jackman was a great host... I liked the changes they made... it seemed to work since ratings were up since last year. I was very excited Sean Penn won for Milk... and I can't wait to see Slumdog Millionaire now!

  8. OMG I was there once... sugh a random place... just a door... was so weird... but a nice place inside... great drinks.
  9. Passed by this morning... it's really coming along... you can now see the shape of the building as it's rising.
  10. Was walking around Downtown this morning... One Park Place just looks AMAZING from up close... like from Discovery Green. It's like nothing else in Houston.

The long-delayed rail lines on the city’s north and southeast sides are a “very high-rated project,” said Rep. James Oberstar, D-Minn., who heads the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. The project, he said, is ready to go and has cleared all but one step of a federal review.
