  3. I think a stoker is one who tends a fire, right?
  4. I went this morning. Nice. It was a cool morning and there were the same volleyball pre-teens going to some event at GRB. Very nice, but smaller than I had imagined.

  6. I wish they weren't such picture Nazi's about shooting out in the park there. Soon as you set up a tripod, the security swoops down (from somewhere) and asks you not to take pictures with a tripod.
  7. On that same tip ... Builders Square. Did they eventually become Home Depot? I remember the colors (orange?) being similar...?
  8. Have some kinda tunnel under the freeway and finally jump 59. That would be kinda cool to have it on both sides of 59.
  9. Ah ... another weird looking sculpture. I knew we had one (Miro), just couldn't remember where.
  10. Don't protesters have to get permits first? If so, they musta had this planned out for awhile, or either the permit office works pretty quickly.

  12. Nice. For some reason the link to the article doesn't work though.
  13. A Cheesecake Factory would be nice. I just checked their website and didn't see any plans for new stores. :-(
  14. Why would he want such a palace? Would it be for entertaining or really for living in?
  15. I understand we have a long way to drive, but some people drive way too fast for the traffic flow and that is wreckless endangerment.
  16. There was a coffee shop on Westheimer I used to frequent (Little Italy .. I think it's still there) that was like that. Like being in a strip center but the inside was like being in a house with a dining room and den.
  17. Wait ... I am still getting over the fact of TWO Macy's in the same facility?!? What a waste.
  18. Prices aren't bad, but I don't think I'll be beating a door to them for their $12 hamburgers.
  19. Yes, but I would suppose it would depend on where you are and the type of camera/lenses you have. I have never had much luck with panoramas.
