I grew up in Baytown, and deep down, I am about as Bubba Country as they come. I know the area he is going to. I don't care how cold it gets, he may come across a Gator or two, or a Bobcat. Exactly, so even if GM has to file bankruptcy and can't pay ACDelco for the O2 sensors, which they own and are trying to sell, ACDelco would most likely try to sell their wares to someone else. Perhaps Ford would purchase it as the increased demand might accomodate the need if their Motorcraft division can't keep up.

Exactly Jeebus, I don't think there are ANY GM parts on a Ford vehicle, except for an occasional lightbulb, which is universal, so SOMEONE is gonna be making it. All I can see is an increased supply for those that can survive.

The Big 3 workers aren't creditors, and the Big 3 can most certainly still pursue credit lines and bailout from the taxpayers while in Chap.11. Nothing wrong with breaking a union to do it either. It will only work, INSIDE the car. It won't cut anybody else off Ed. It doesn't work that way. It is like the "Intelligent Key" on my Altima, Murano, and Maximas. It will have some kind of built-in range finder. MusicM, like I said, it would become enabled in a wreck or if the engine is off. It can only work with a powersource, and it can only work if the car is in any gear other than park.

Ok, so they are coming out with a new Key Card for vehicles that will disable cellphone usage while driving. I personally think they should make it mandatory in ALL cars. But, before you say "WHAT IF YOU HAVE A WRECK AND CAN"T GET OUT OF THE CAR!" Well, there are safeguards for this, I would make the key card enabled if the airbags show to have been deployed, or the engine is off. If you breakdown, you can always step out of the vehicle to use the phone or simply put the car in park to enable the phone. What do you folks think.

WHAT ??? I just sold a car to a guy with a 580 beacon. Another one day before yesterday with a 630. Who told you this lie ? Quit listening to the drive by media suckheads, would you ? If someone has the proper amount down, and a stable job, and residence, I can get them into a car. You WILL however need a 700 beacon or better or at least 650 with HALF DOWN, to finance one of my GT-Rs.
