Week 11) Texans @ Earthman Funeral Home -( this is actually a bye week) Week 12) Kingsville Hospital for the mentally impaired @ Texans They are apparently still trying to wrangle some teams for the rest of the season, so it should be a good year for us.
  2. Mmmmmmmmmm. street dog, nothing like a good ol' link of pressed lips and @$$holes to make for an enjoyable lunch experience. If I'm eating junkfood, hmmmm, let's see, fresh 100% all beef patty from Beck's or possible ecoli poisoning from Guido the hotdog pimp ? I don't know, tough decision. >

  6. Sev, if you are out and about, maybe you could run over to Galena Park, and take a few shots of the El Capitan theater. It is just north of 225 over by the Washburn tunnel.

  8. Nothing like seeing a 30ft pair of breasts when you are 10yrs. old. I recall several times having seen the same image Gnu, that is hilarious !
  9. "Nasty good" ?! I am all in on that one. Soon as I get tired of Turkey Hash and Turkey sandwiches, and Turkey pot pies, and Turkey casseroles, I am there !
  10. They must of had a big tarp over the whole place so that kiddos wouldn't be exposed to some racey cinema back in the early 60's.
  11. There was a Playhouse toys in Sharpstown Mall, years ago. I got my shoelace caught in the escalator at Joske's about 1975 or so, I was 5 yrs. old, and I thought for sure I was gonna get eaten by the escalator.
  12. If it had been the Cubbies, Chicago would have been more appreciative.
  13. Look at the middle couple in that pic, That girl is giving a look as if to say "stay away from me you creep".
  14. Please help refresh my memory, was that a Globe or a Gibson's at the corner of Beltway 8 and I-10 ?
  15. It is my belief that it only works if we get our key players to comeback. I am all for the economic injection though. Roger Clemens is a major spokesperson for my company. C'mon Rodge, one more year baby !
  16. That kind of stuff happens all the time, be thankful no one is up in a clock tower sniping students. Tell her not to worry about drunken acts of stupidity. Tell her to worry about her major and what her thesis is gonna be on.

  20. Rice is now Rice Epicurian, Rice originally took over the Eagle grocery stores. If I remember correctly. Where the 24 hour fitness on San Felipe is now, by Voss, that used to be an Eagle grocery, then Rice.
  21. On my Father's weekends we would go to the Sambo's in Clear Lake on Nasa Rd.1 every sunday. A kid has to have his waffles you know.
  22. If you really need to see an old Steak and Egg building, there is one on Memorial just past Dairy Ashford heading west, on the left ,next to the flying pizza place. I believe there also one still standing on Beechnut or Bellaire just past Wilcrest on the right as you head west.
  23. I grew up in Baytown, don't feel bad, I was one of the lucky ones. I got out. Anyways, my family and I live in Katy now, and we sometimes go back to visit relatives , my wife has gotten to the point where she will not let me take the beltway to get there, so we have to take I-10 and deal with traffic. She won't go the beltway because of the "smell" going through Stinkadena. She grew up in the clean air and starry nights of El Campo. I, of course, do not "smell" any foul odors, having your senses de-sensatised is a funny thing.
  24. no no no, Town Center, say it with me.
