  1. I can get you hooked up with a transporter for about $1000, I think.
  2. Somebody tell Bigtex and WAZ about this thread , FAST. I don't want them to miss out on this opportunity.
  3. Most of these places are satelite feeds and whoever the M.O.D. is must like the 80's station. That's what we have it on right now up here, but I could walk to the back and switch it to Gangsta Rap and nobody would notice for 3 or 4 days probably.
  4. Come on now, give the Messiah a chance. I did hear he was eyeing his buddy Bill Ayers as the new Homeland Security Chief before he went with Napolitano. I think he made a wise choice on that one, so cut him some slack.
  5. So Bigtex and WAZ are the same person. Gotcha, now it all goes to show why WAZ was brownosing in your thread Tex.
  6. Gary, you could literally walk over there! LOL!
  7. Red, those same lawmakers are gonna tap into the TARP fund before the year is out, or at least before Obama gets into office. Then once your boy is in, he will be their magic genie, and grant the big 3 whatever their heart desires.
  8. Chrysler is shutting down all 30 plants for a month.
  9. I am kinda liking firefox so far. Not alot of difference from IE.
  10. I was one of those HAIFers until yesterday Ed. I just got my bad boy out of the shop. I don't want it going back in that fast. As of this morning they are saying IE still isn't fixed yet. IE 6 or 7 ? Aren't we on like 9 now?
  11. I switched today after hearing the IT guy on talk radio here in Austin , kinda like Michael Garfield down there, say this "NEW" virus was a serious security threat, that CAN steal your passwords and to leave IE alone altogether until further notice. I don't think the guy is getting paid by Google or Firefox to say these things, so I will take his advice for now. Anyone else hear about this new IE bug ? More of the story here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28258894/
  12. Guys, THIS is a jellybean car, per Ford. This is the epitome of Ford's "OVAL" design cues. Ford Probe: Ford Taurus is even worse. Everything from the front lights to the back window was "OVAL" insprired. Now Ford's angle is the "3 bars" concept, along with staying afloat.
  13. Ummm, the bus in "24" says "Palmer for President" on it also. The bus is supposed to be in Day 1, Episode: 12am to 1am. THis is from what i've read. I'm not a fan of "24" either.
  14. No one is talking about a collapse of the Big 3, nobody wants that. We are talking about restructuring, and THEN get the infuse of cash from the Govt. if it is still needed. Gotta get rid of the bad deal with the UAW first Red. UAW may have made concessions, but they didn't want to implement them until a year or two down the road. So, they drain the bailout money the Big 3 gets now, and then we are back where we started in a few months.
  15. Again, who says you have to fire all the union employees? I think you can give them ample time to let these workers know what is about to go down, and if they wish to stay employed as a non-union worker, as part of their reorganization and keep the big 3 going, then so be it. If they don't, then they can hang out with their UAW cronies and not work, watch the Big 3 go down and not have a job at all, but hey, at least they are union.
  16. How DARE you dis' NASCAR !!! Don't make me put the "shake-n-bake" on you !
  17. I totally agree with the paragraph. I never said O-whoops possible suspect 13 did anything wrong. All I have implied is that he or his staff DID indeed talk to the Gov.'s office, when Obama was swearing that they hadn't. It was as simple as that.
  18. Hmmm, now supplying links to stories about Dems. don't count either? How very partisan of you Red. Those weren't blogs I have been linking, they are AP pieces, or are those guys not credible anymore as well ? This whole Gov. thing has Obama in virtually every story, it is impossible to get away from. So, just to be fair to the Messiah, I will now refer to him as, possible suspect 13, as to not offend your's and west's delicate sensibilities when hearing the "O-word" when there is speculation by the media of wrongdoing. Sorry possible suspect 13. ....and it just so happens I DO count them as sold, until they say "No." In much the same way as I suspect you think all your criminals in Mont. Co. are innocent until proven guilty.
  19. I read it, they said in the LONG TERM, it would be better for them. But here in the NOW, it is important that the big 3 stay viable(not bankrupt) so that consumer confidence is not damaged any further than it already is. I think it is a little too far gone for that, don't you ?
  20. Red, isn't it obvious, they need the competion to keep forwarding technology, and to keep appearances that, "We aren't perfect, but we are at least better than Detroit, remember that you American Dogs, I mean consumers." Japan needs the competition so they can continue to make a higher profit margin. There is a real threat that unions would try to infiltrate the Japanese producers HERE, if the Big 3 ain't here to push around anymore. The problem is the Big 3 can sustain in a Chap.11, not Chrysler, but GM and Ford can. Japan just doesn't want a changing view of the American people, they will lose market share, because you have those who become entranced by the waving of Ol'Glory in a commercial with a Chevy truck in it, and deep discounts that are now affordable because of the slashed labor costs.
  21. Well, there's that too. I never said Obama did anything wrong. In fact, in post #3, I was talking about the article, that Obama is brought up in. I didn't write that article, I didn't put Obama in that article, and are you gonna sit there and deny that Obama hasn't been part of this story ? I didn't bait anyone, if you choose to open your big yapper on the subject of what my take is on this thing, then that is on you, not me.
