  1. Wait a sec, so all that land fenced off is just what... for parking???
  2. So there's now a weekly shuttle service from Houston to Galveston that runs 3 times a day M-F. Has anyone heard about the shuttle or tried it?
  3. Oh where that tow truck company was located???
  4. I get the sarcasm. I'm talking about the trail connections as well. I think things are starting to pick up steam with Houstonians using their bikes to get around. It's becoming common place inside the loop.
  5. Looks like the move to make Houston a gold level bike city is happening faster than what most critics assumed.
  6. I think the Antique Center is sticking around last time I heard. I don't mind it. I'm just glad this eyesore of a mall will be gone.
  7. This brewery will fit in so damn well with the neighborhood. This is awesome!
  8. That looks like a great spot to watch the game!
  9. I feel like this area will be very neighborgood focused, so spots like a vet clinic, pharmacy, a small market would be good for the area. North downtown seems more about entertainment.
  10. I really like the idea of more open air development in this area. I don't feel this area NEEDS to be another CityCentre style development. I've never been a fan of Greenspoint for a number of reasons. One of the MAIN reasons though is that the natural landscape is underutilized. This area has lots of pine trees. I think it's great for business parks along with attracting large campuses for companies. The idea of a driving range/gold course works well with this. The only reason I say all of this is because I think the city needs to focus mostly on inner loop city centers and drawing people in to the loop, not keeping them in the burbs.
  11. I was just about to post this. This looks awesome for the area!
  12. This project along with the KBR site, the redevelopment of Caninos famers market, and Hardy Yards is going to really push Houston as a destination city. It's amazing just how neglected Houston was for so long.
  13. I have to say, this is one of the most beautiful urban developments I've ever seen. Walked thru it the other day and it's just perfect.
