towerjunkie
Wow no offense but that base just looks so out of place with the rest of the building. At first I thought it was tasteful but it just looks like the upper facade is covering a hidden black building.
cspwal
It looks like big blast screens were covering the building, but got stuck after only the first few floors

brijonmang
That was quick. This was from Sunday night:
mfastx
Honestly I think it's an improvement, I like the more modern look. Although saying "it's an improvement" isn't saying a lot.
cspwal
It is interesting how much better it looks with the lettering, but it might just be the lighting is more favorable
Subdude
To me it just looks ugly and disjointed.
Montrose1100
I understand what they were going for, but compared to Tenneco's redo, and what is planned for the Allen Center, this lags behind the competition.
BigFootsSocks
You guys are really missing the whole point of this thing. You're supposed to cover your eyes with your hand to block out the top portion, leaving only the nice remodeled section in view, and vice versa. That way, the horrible disjointed and differing architectural styles don't give you migraines!
Luminare
I like it....at night. It really does look nice at night. In the day it looks kinda stale. I blame the material choice.
Triton
If they clad it in glass above, it would look cool.
Subdude
Let's see, a black bottom portion with skinny windows varying in width, coupled with a white upper section with broad windows varying in height. Yup, makes perfect sense to me. One wonders how things like this ever get approved. Does no one ever pull the architect aside and say, "Um, sorry, but that's really stupid and ugly"?
ZKB9
It certainly looks better with the lighting and sign up, but it's still a downgrade as far as I'm concerned.
