They took the fence down? How long has it been down? It was still up just two weeks ago when I walked by. 

Via instagram, some artists have put together holiday themed art installations in the park so we must be close to the official announcement by the city and some celebration. I checked downtown and city of houston and nothing yet.

Just opened this afternoon. About 10 dogs in the dog park already.

Really impressed with this park. They've utilized the space well and I feel it will grow into an asset for this section of downtown.

Tout Suite is now open.

My girlfriend and I went here Saturday night and grabbed some coffee at Tout Suite. This park adds so much life to this side of downtown.

Really nice crowd Sunday. Great complement to Discovery Green and Tout Suite was actually a lot larger that I thought with walk-up, outdoor and indoor seating.

I was kinda wondering if they were ever gonna shade the play area. I can't imagine how hot it gets otherwise!

It's not as bad as it looks. I've sat on the benches when it was in the upper 90's, and as long as you have a beverage, it's fine. 
 

It's a shame they're going to install ramadas, though. It's supposed to be a park. How about getting the shade from some trees?  For $600,000 you could get mature ones ready to go.
