Five Oaks Place/Woodside: Office Tower At 1500 Post Oak Bvd.
VicMan replied to fernz's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
Singapore's is an "honorary consulate" located out of an office in the Chase Tower. It's not at the same level as a Consulate General.- 594 replies

Hmm... I understand having a business casual dress if I worked at a typical business office (banking offices, AFAIK, are still oxford and tie). But some other fields like IT have very relaxed dress codes. Many teachers may wear T-shirts and shorts. I guess the president was very embarrassed with how the kids at Quinn dressed.

Will the new building mean that more consulates will be established in that complex? Three are already at Four Oaks Place. Perhaps Transwestern should talk to the Swiss and the Australians and see if they want to re-establish their Houston missions. Also Transwestern should talk to Vietnam, the Philippines, South Africa, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Nigeria.- 594 replies

I read the student handbook - it sounds like a typical non-uniform high school dress code - i.e. no Daisy Dukes, no profanity on shirts, no doo-rags.

A lot of it is highly urbanized. Look at this map: http://www.ridemetro.org/SchedulesMaps/Pdf...-System-Map.pdf Heavily populated areas include FM 1960 area, the western area of Alief ISD, many parts of Aldine ISD, much of Katy ISD along the I-10 corridor, and bits of southeast Harris County...

Pearland should have its third library; I know Sugar Land already has three while Missouri City only has one. EDIT: I should have said second - Pearland has one library right now -
The fake image from the Daily Mail has since been removed. The fake image is still visible on the A.Net thread, though. (Reply #22)

Lower the legal drinking age to 18 say some univ professors

In some rural areas, this would be very inconvenient. Many rural areas are completely dependent on the automobile. In the city this would be more practical as we have public transportation. -
Editor: By 99% of the city being 8 stories or under, what is this referring to? The Tokyo Metropolis includes the city core to the east, the suburbs and rural mountain areas to the west, AND islands off the coast of Honshu. The Tokyo government is equivalent to a U.S. state. Usually the Tokyo "city" refers to the 23 special wards, which are 23 municipalities that seamlessly work together as the central area of Tokyo. There used to be a City of Tokyo, but that was abolished in 1943. The 23 special wards occupy what was the City of Tokyo.

This is due to franchises thinking about buying closed locations and reopening them. I don't think the central company will be back, but let's see what happens with the franchises: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gLV2l44...D0wZDgD92DKV6G0 -

While Medellin is a bad man, why not make him suffer forever? Put him in solitary confinement. Will he become an insane, drooling blank slate?

Mayde Creek is in the ETJ, but the Houston city limits are nearby.

...And that Cy-Fair contains few (so far) decaying suburbs. North Forest ISD, Aldine ISD, Alief ISD, and Pasadena ISD have some suburbs that are decaying.

In the case of works in the public domain in the United States (published before 1923), you CAN get that from the internet. You can read Shakespeare, Tolstoy, etc. on many websites that host works. For example, SparkNotes hosts some Shakespeare stories.
