I agree, the stadium looks great, just those orange boxes look like an eye sore as they are. Would be a great surface to do some Dynamo surface graphics of the players.

The Langley: Residential High-Rise At 1717 Bissonnet St.

It looks like Randy Locke (running for city council) is wanting to pay off the developers to try and keep them from building the highrise. Best Burger Places In Houston
fatesdisastr replied to Samsoner's topic in Houston Area Dining, Shopping and Entertainment
Petrol Station is legit. Specially on Mondays with their pub burger/fries/pint for 9.99 Can't beat it! -
All lower case letters on a stadium like that just comes across unimportant and unprofessional to me

I agree! These buildings and photos are absolute incredible! Awesome find, thanks for the share

Gloria's Latin Cuisine At 2616 Louisiana St.

I thought this location was fair at best. Definitely not one of the better Tex-Mex around in my opinion. -
I also wish the streets were as smooth as the rendering shows them to be. Way to many pot holes down Cullen.

Higher Density does not equal less driving

I'm can't quite understand what the ring roads survey is actually saying about Houston. Can anyone point me in the right direction? -
Can anyone post tidbits of the article. Can't read much of anything without the subscription. Thanks guys.

Hess Tower: Office Skyscraper At 1501 McKinney St.
fatesdisastr replied to Ethanra's topic in Downtown
What a disappointment it would be if they didn't ever return. I think it is quite imperative that sometime in the next few years that they return. The building is quickly becoming an icon of south downtown and Houston's commitment to future renewable energy.- 1,031 replies

I don't know why but it is so irritating that everyone knows they are building this campus and they won't say anything. The cat has been out of the bag for some time guys, spill your beans already. SHEESH

I honestly don't trust METRO. I understand that we need the light rail systems but METRO is sketchy. I'd be hesitant to give them anything.- 96 replies

GreenStreet: Mixed-Use Development At 1201 Fannin St.
fatesdisastr replied to MontroseNeighborhoodCafe's topic in Downtown
I agree on the hotel. I think the longer HP sites idle like it has been, the longer and more difficult it is to eventually persuade Houstonians this is a place to be. -
I seriously don't see a future of AHL and NHL in Houston. Though it would be nice to get into the big leagues in terms of hockey, I don't think it would be appropriate for Houston. I mean...major hockey in Houston, come on.
