    There was another UH robbery a day or two ago. In my opinion, UH has a lot more crime than I think most universities face. My only other time outside of UH at a major university was at Texas Tech and we rarely got news of robberies and violence on campus. It seems as if UH sends out at least biweekly emails about these issues. Maybe UH is more informative that TTU was about these issues but I find myself always looking over my shoulder on campus because of the amount of crime. It is a serious serious issue that needs more funding and surveillance than I have seen. Millions and millions of student tuition funding is going to new stadiums and buildings but a student can't feel safe on campus. Such a shame.

    I'm not sure why they'd use a picture from 2007 with residential towers if the new renderings show no towers at all. Or am I just mistaken on the new renderings of this development.

    These Texans are unstoppable! I seriously don't think the Jets will give the Texans much fuss even though they will be at Metlife Stadium next week. I expect our boys to be 5-0 going into the home game vs Green Bay. I think that will be our first real test this season. It will really show if our boys are really up for a Super Bowl run this season. Gotta love this kid J.J. Watt

    So far Texans are looking pretty good this season. I was impressed by the way they held on even when it seemed as if the tide was turning towards the Broncos there in the 4th. Definitely not a Texans of the old.

    UH is prepping the old Y building site with concrete to be used for more food trucks starting October 1st. With more affordable options. http://thedailycougar.com/2012/09/17/more-mobile-meal-options/ As much as I love Bernie's Burger Bus and the Waffle Bus, this part of campus really needs more affordable foods. Glad to see it is coming.

    1A parking garage rendering Fence has been down for a week or two. Finishing up and have the landscaping in. Looks nice. I also was walking by the new cafeteria going in on the corner of Wheeler and Cullen and noticed that parking lot 13A was fenced off. Anyone know why, could we be expecting something to rise over here?
