    In my opinion the Phoenicia on the backside of OPP does pretty good business. Every time I head to Discovery Green I stop by to get some good hummus and pita and there are always a few handfuls of people in there. I think they do pretty well.

    I would be surprised if this hotel is up and running in 2013. I understand that removing the skin is a tedious process and takes a lot of time, and for that reason I just don't think guests will be moving in in the next 11 months. I'll believe the 3Q 2014 date.

    I don't see how this could be the location you are saying it is. Looking at Post Phase III from your location I don't understand how downtown would be in the same picture.

    Not many people see the back of this building but I figured I would give a visual from this past Thursday.

    Field goals cannot be part of the plan for this week. I think we have to look at going on 4th and 2 or 3 instead of kicking. As we saw this weekend with three drives ending in field goals for 9 points and the next drive ending in a pick for 6 and only leading by 2. Really shows how awful going for 3 consistently is. Cannot and should not do that vs Pats. I'm optimistic in the sense that if our boys play like they played at the beginning of the season we will have a good chance, otherwise its going to be a long game and off season.

    It might have been. In 2008 I worked at the Hard Rock and remember seeing a building draped as if it was being remodeled heading down in that direction on Texas. I guess Lancaster might have been too close for my point of view, and if Rice was remodeled at that time then I am sure you are right. Thanks for letting me know

    Is this the same building that was renovated within recent years? I seem to recall a building on Texas a few years back being renovated.

    I guess if Macy's did want to take the Books A Million spot they could always expand beyond current walls considering the rest of that first floor side of the block is completely vacant.

    So if we are all feeling the Texans should axe Shaub pending on how he does in the playoffs, who do you think the Texans should be looking at as a replacement? Surely a risky move, but should Tebow be looked at as a possibility with all the problems in NY? Just a thought.

    Would be nice to have that but I have a hard time picturing a building meant for residential fitting on this parcel of land. Of course I am sure I'd be wrong. Also the current plans for the convention center hotel is much much better than this one. The new pool owns over the rectangular one this one was portraying.
