    I saw that they have fenced off the Staff parking under the Business building on campus. I heard that they fenced it off because they were going to be working on moving the police office and book store under the business building. It looks like this summer could be a busy one for construction and demo.

    I wish they would have used the normal white lights. To me the white lights look quite nice, those types of lights just feel like an eye sore and unnecessarily bright

    Im not sure what is moving into the corner spot on Elgin and Louisiana but they put up a "Now Hiring" sign in the window on the Elgin side.

    there really doesnt seem to be a captivating water feature at the proposed park. to me, water features are what draw the people in. hint: disco greens shoot water, ponds, etc

    new pictures from this evening louisiana street side view: restaurant front and parking lot view: main entrance: back side of the restaurant: the restaurant is quite large, it sure doesnt look it but it is. the parking lot is quite small, but factoring in the amount of street side parking as well as extra parking behind the restaurant. and vacant lot across the street. I hope parking wont be as bad. as a side note, i wonder how Ruby Tequila's will fair with El Patio just 2 blocks north i recall the margarita's were quite good at the lubbock location. i hope this restaurant becomes a pleasant hit

    I know that the topic of Ruby Tequila's is elsewhere on HAIF but not in the midtown section. I've been to the Ruby Tequila's in Lubbock, Texas numerous times. always a great place to grab tex-mex. i hope this one doesnt disappoint. Opening is planned for October 19th.
