  1. thats a great picture, i need to make another downtown trip. i miss it
  2. This is so true, after all the Rockets have delt with, all the pessimism that we wont make it out of the first round, so much doubt but so much heart and passion. Truelly a season to remember no matter the outcome. I say Game 7 Rockets by 2
  3. WOO GAME 7!!! regardless if we win in LA...everyone now knows LA doesnt have championship quality HAHAHAHA ....SUCK IT LAKERS!
  4. man im glad to report just as i thought, rockets can really play fast ball. im just hoping for good refs in LA rockets are goin to have one hell of a kobe on their hands tuesday. if we can contain kobe we can win in LA.
  5. as much as i think the series is now officially over now that yao's out, it might not be completely think about all the times yao has been out and on the bench. the rockets can surely hold their own without him but yes its going to be more difficult. the rockets are a scrappy bunch of guys. atleast now we can run the floor more without yao slowing them down. i dunno, we shall see
  6. man Guadalajara Del Centro is over rated. salsa sucks, come on, give us something fresh! sorry...its Texas, take pride in your salsa mexican food restaurants
  7. I totally know that Ron isnt the exact same Ron as he was in 2004 but Ron still carries that passion, intensity and everything else with him whenever he plays. Just because he isnt the same Ron that will jump into the crowd, doesnt make him any less dangerous when it comes to pissing him off. Ron hasnt gone soft just because he can better control himself. Like he said "I told him, 'You're hitting the wrong person. Don't you know you're hitting Ron Artest?' "
  8. ok this has to be said: 1. Derek Fisher better get a game suspension for that intentional Flagrant 2 foul verse Scola 2. If anything Kobe should have gotten a foul on that Artest shot to the throat. therefore i think the league needs to look into having a ref watching replay at the scorers table for things like that. kobe shouldnt be allowed to play dirty, especially an elbow to a players throat. and last off....lol...I LOVE RON ARTEST! he is the soul of the Rockets. as he realized the refs wouldnt talk to kobe about the elbow ron runs over to kobe and repeatedly says "HIT ME IN THE THROAT AGAIN! HIT ME IN MY F*CKIN THROAT AGIAN!" Ron is a guy the rockets need, the passion, the intensity, and sticks up for teammates dont mess with Ron kobe, lets not forget he is the same Ron who jumped into the crowd in indy and punched people repeatedly in the face after being taunted all game.
  9. anyone else like the ron artest vonhawk? lol i thought it looked great. kept makin me think i was seeing von wafer from a distance, but ron's size told me otherwise
  10. wow what a big big Game 1 win in LA for our Houston Rockets!!!! we played pretty well but frankly, LA lost that game, they did not seem like the Lakers ive seen so much of this season. a win is a win and ill take it anyway we can get it =]
  11. lol nice resurrection of a topic, 6 days off from a year you were almost there!
  12. i hate it when their webcam decides to be a punk! stupid cam
  13. My next door neighbor 3 houses down used to own the Confederate House/ State Grille. Now he just owns Damon's.
  14. LET THE CELEBRATION BEGINNNNNN!!!!!!!! rockets played great!
  15. i love the rockets with all my heart but we cannot match up with the lakers. besides yao our next tallest player is scole, landry and cook at 6-9. and cook doesnt even play unless its a blow out. the lakers have 4 players at 7-0 and two of them are great players in bynum and gasol and lamar odem at 6'10. the lakers are giants, in othe sense. to beat the lakers the rockets have to be firing on all cyclinders, swinging the ball, knockin down open jump shots and pushing the ball with our shorter stature and speed. i think its goin to be a difficult series on yao.we can win the series, its just goin to take a lot prayin blood sweat tears
  16. well then i completely agree with you, he was more of a cheerleader, inspiration and spirit of the rockets. and yes artest is scary, when he dribble smore than 8 seconds off the clock i hold my breath and close my eyes prayin he pulls somethin out
  17. The only things that is bad about ending early is ending too early, some teams really dont do well the first game back after an excess time for rest. and from what i tend to remember form a few instances in the season, the rockets were really sloppy the first game back. if the rockets do come out and win this series, they cant afford to play bad the first game verses the lakers. im hoping this series goes in 6 games. but i wouldnt be upset if it went in 5, a win is a win. just have to see how they come out in game 1 vs lakers in LA
  18. but wouldn't you say that being the second all time blocked shot leader in NBA history is a big impact? also i feel the NBA ought to name an award in his honor someday. there really hasn't been anyone quite like Deke who has given up so much for the people of his country. the size of his heart surpasses that of a champion.
  19. just like your name says, its all up up up from here!
  20. those refs were absolutely a disgrace to the game. calling fouls where our players never even touch the blazers, yet, still a foul! come on refs, you cant make a foul call under the basket from 25 feet away? or can you? please... game 3 is goin to the rockets. no doubt about that. the fans wont let the rockets lose. not this year in the first round
  21. man that must have been a great day, it was gorgeous outside saturday. which i had gone =/
