    Visited JerryBuilt today for lunch. It was good but I wouldn't say it was anything great. I think Smash Burger is better. It's worth the trip though just to use the high tech drink dispenser and hand washer. First time I've seen anything like them.

    So I guess they will tear down the old water treatment plant? I will kind of miss it but I understand it's progress. Amazing the amount of construction that has been going on in and around downtown Austin over the last decade.

    I second that. Those are needed all over. I hate people that get in the right lane and don't turn when there are other lanes available for going straight but most Houston drivers drive like they are the only car on the road. Also, before they allow cars turning into business along 99 I would like to see them expand the frontage road to at least 3 lanes.

    Denver got him. Glad the Titans didn't because if he is 100% then the Texans would be in trouble. Heck even less then 100% he's better then most quarterbacks.

    Oh and by the way that news report is very dated. Whole Foods has not used QAI for a long time.

    Interesting, although it only seems to be the frozen vegetables that are from China and I rarely ever buy frozen. Their fresh vegetables are usually locally grown and you cannot trust anything that is supposedly regulated by the USDA. I'm not an organic nut anyway, I usually buy whatever is on sale at my local HEB. If it looks fresh, that's good enough for me.

    That's a likely scenario. If they get Manning and Chris Myers the Texans may be in trouble next year.

    I do need to try the Jerry Built hamburger. Heard good things about it. Best one I've had lately was at the new Hay Merchant.

    Agreed food safety is important but kind of stiff regulations for serving people that regularly eat from dumpsters and trash cans.

    I agree Peyton was the Colts but I don't want to see the Texans in the same predicament where they spend all their money on one player. At least when Schaub went down we still had a real good team, just not a Superbowl contender.

    I'm with RedScare on that one. All the Texans need to get to the Superbowl is a healthy starting quarterback. I would hate for them to trade away half the team to get Manning, which is what it would take.

    Went yesterday (Thursday). Got there early enough to get a table. Love this place. Great ambiance, great food, great beer. What more could you ask for? I really didn't think I would like the pig ears but they proved to be very addicting. Hamburger was also one of the best I have had. They cut and grind their own meat so it's always fresh. Look closely at the bricks surrounding the manhole cover built into the wall. They are old city street bricks that were pulled up while excavating the new Dynamo stadium. Loved their water bottles. Big King Cobra malt liquor bottles. ps. Underbelly is having a soft opening this week. Official opening is scheduled for next Monday. Did not eat there but took a tour and I'm sure it's also going to be incredible. Their wine bar is open for business now.

    Ate at Gloria's while in the DFW area this last weekend. I give it two thumbs up. It's kind of like a combination of Churrascos and Pappasitos. Margarita's were muy bien. At the one we dined they clear the tables out at 10 and have Salsa dancing. Don't know if the Houston location will do the same. Looking forward to it coming here. Nice to have something just a little different from all the regular TexMex places.

    Drinking and driving is a non-issue at this point but probably did weigh in on his decision to not stick around. Legally drunk or not, cops can arrest you if they have probable cause such as liquor on the breath and getting into an accident.

    I love the Woodlands but because I work in town I'll take Sugar Land any day. I don't know how anyone can handle the commute from Woodlands/Spring area. Hardy toll road helps some but not much.

    Just got the Razr Maxx. I love it. Between the phone and 4g it's amazingly fast, at least compared to my old Droid. I can easily go 48 hours between charges if not more. But I'm not really a power user. OS is supposed to be updated with Android 4.0 sometime soon.

    LOL. That's where I saw the Exorcist also. And Kubrick's 2001 and many others I'm sure. But those two stand out.
