    Yes I went to Hunt. It was mostly cloudy but just enough breaks in the clouds to see the progression of the moon sliding across the front of the sun and the total darkness when total eclipse was happening, 4:30 minutes at around 1:32 pm. It was very cool and eerie to see. We had several buzzards flying around during it but they seemed to disappear during total darkness.

    The Planning Commission deferred this a second time. One person spoke against it but in my opinion he has a vested interest in opposing it. He was representing the developer of 1500 Gray which is an apartment project that may be built and this would affect his ability to fill apartment units in that building if and when they do build it. TXDOT had no objections to the proposal.

    The Planning Commission approved the Concept Neighborhood Trail Village and the Off Street Parking Variance at 201 Roberts Street as they are both part of the same project. There was some opposition from those in the neighborhood but a slightly more support for it, 3 against vs. 4 for. Some of the buildings are in the National Register of Historic Places.
