Lustre Pearl is a bar from Austin's Dunlap ATX. It's opening soon in East Village at 2106 Dallas St, Suite 100 (although the webpage lists 2106 Dallas St, Suite 110). Additionally, Houston's Big Vibe Group is partnering with Lustre Pearl to server burgers. I wonder how much the drinks will be - note the lack of prices on the menu pictures When Agricole Hospitality announced the bar concept replacing Miss Carousel would be laid back, I had a feeling it would be similar to EZ's Liquor Lounge in terms of aesthetic and menu-wise. Personally, I liked Miss Carousel and wish it was still around. But, if a concept isn't working or bringing in enough customers consistently (I'm not saying that was the case here, because I don't know to say for sure), a business has to go in a different direction. As previously mentioned, HiWay Cantina replaces Indianola at 1201 St Emanuel St. All posts from Indianola's Instagram and Facebook were scrubbed this week. In place of Indianola, HiWay Cantina was added to the existing social media accounts. HiWay Cantina is located in East Village alongside Agricole's other concepts: Lightnin's Good Times and Vinny's.
