When I was at the site the superintendent told me the riggers refused to go in the pit where the base of the tower crane is due to a couple inches of water. He had to buy a pump to get the water out. He said they hope to finish today. Another worker told me they had to pay the first AT crane $45,000 to erect the tower crane and another $45,000 to take it back down. Add another $45,000 for today's work to erect it it once again.

Does anyone know who is building this project (the general contractor)?

I asked a worker and he pointed to his hat and shirt, it had that symbol on them. I think they are the concrete contractors and Jaxon Hill is the GC. The site superintendent mentioned they also built 1111 Studewood.

I was at the medical center during the recent heavy rains but I saw a picture on twitter where White Oak bayou had spilled over the walking trails.  Does anyone know how the corner of White Oak and Houston avenue fared?  That intersection has flooded several times in the past.

That nice paving and landscaping in the bottom right corner caught my eye so I zoomed in to get a better look and noticed the flood gauge. "Nothing to see here folks!" said the realtor to the prospective buyers. 😬

Blocked the view of downtown from the neighbors across the street. Dang!!

I mean, they're single-family detached homes about a mile from the downtown of a major city. Can't really expect lengthy sightlines for long in that context.
