OK upon closer inspection, they are changing out balcony railings. I guess all of them. Ouch.

I have some pictures but cannot figure out how to place them here. I'm not an IT person and can't find a sticky on the site that says "here is how to add photos." I see the image icon but it asks for URL. Thanks in advance.

Your pictures can be uploaded - if you're in the full reply window (click on "more options" next to the "post" button in the quick reply window) click on the "Choose File" button to select them from your computer and then attach them.

Otherwise the images need to be hosted somewhere to get a URL (like tinypic, photobucket).

I thought we had a FAQ about this but I can't find anything either! If we really don't, we'll make one..

Well according to a friend of mine, whom has had some contractor dealings with that building, that the need to redo the railing system stems from how they were anchored to the building, apparently there was a lot of rain water getting in through the mounts and leaking badly in some cases to the floor below, throughout the building.

Ok, so, I'm surprised none of us found these articles sooner... my last post was a mismatch of the facts. There is a lawsuit, and a lot of defects with the building beyond the glass railings... Read on...
