Triton
Noticed a good amount of construction activity. Couldn't find anything on the web. Anyone have any idea what's happening there? If anyone can't take photos, I'll see if I can swing back by on Wednesday after work to get a shot. 4

HNathoo
This was being marketed a while back. Maybe they found a buyer.http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/18460615/1700-Hamilton-St-Houston-TX/
Triton
What did you see going on at the site? Ok, decided to drive by right now. We're talking about a lot of activity on southern half and the northeast corner as well (Almost all the lot, in other words): Block 360 by Marc longoria, on Flickr On the south side, there's 2 construction loaders for dirt/gravel, 7 to 8 TSC freight-sized containers, one large Waste Management disposal container, lumber, and two fairly large mounds of dirt. On the north side, there's concrete pieces that appear to be for drainage and I believe I saw a stack of bricks. cspwal
I've seen this a couple of times but assumed it was staging for something else
Triton
I've seen this a couple of times but assumed it was staging for something else At first I thought it was for Hamilton Apartments but it's two blocks away and they already have a staging area. Not quite sure what it is.

bobruss
There is a Hamilton Hospitality operated by Ali & Kareida Karim. I don't know what other projects they have done but that might be who is developing this block and I hope these aren't the Wendy's and burger King guys who owned the Wendys that cut down all the trees. Hopefully not.
HNathoo
I think the dhanani's were the Wendy's guys that cut down the trees on Kirby.
andre154
Could it be a Candlewood Suites? It seems the same property owner developed the Candlewood Suites in Pearland. He also has gone by "Currim" and owns Space City Liquors down in Clear Lake. So, basically, it could be anything. http://www.buzzfile.com/business/Candlewood-Suites-Pearland-281-412-7400http://www.buzzfile.com/business/Space-City-Liquor-281-980-1159

cspwal
After no activity for a couple of weeks, there's a back hoe running around spreading dirt flat on the lot. If I remember I'll try to grab a picture on my way home
