houstontexasjack
I’m hoping this portends a start to construction in the relatively near future. It’d be a delight to watch Caydon’s tower and this rise over the next couple years. Edited March 11, 2018 by houstontexasjack

hindesky
Nothing on their website shows they do apartment projects, I guess this will be the first. http://huntconstructiongroup.com/projects/

MarathonMan
I think the recent work here was to install drainage pipes to prevent standing water in “Lake Midtown”. If I had to guess, that is what the permit in the photo above references. The drains are in and the back hoe and dozer on-site have been idle for the past couple of weeks. Hopefully, the fact that they haven’t removed the equipment hints that they may be about to start using it again. . . to actually build this place. On the other hand, why would they install drainage unless they don’t intend to do anything with the site for a long time? Who knows?
hindesky
Looks a little less cluttered like they cleaned out the lake.

urbanize713
So this will be taller than Caydon by ~ 27 ft. Let the Midtown height wars begin!
J Money
Can’t wait to see those cranes. Hopefully the height war gets even more hot after Caydon builds their 630-footer!
Twinsanity02
Those of you wishing for a skyline connection from downtown to the TMC may get your wish sooner than you imagine. This thing appears to be in a positive feedback cycle. I hope.

MarathonMan
There was only one guy out there working the backhoe this morning. Definitely not a full crew. It makes me wonder what's actually going on here.
