    to displace the fewest residents and businesses, they need to route I-45 around the East Loop. Make the current I-45 inside the loop a spur that links to downtown and to 59. the main difficulty with this is that the Ship Channel Bridge is approaching 50 years of age...

    When I used to have facebook, I posted something about how i hated living in Houston because it was 100° and 100% humidity at midnight. A friend from Sweden said, "But you get to look at rockets on the way to work" So, yeah, we have that going for us.

    do some of y'all not know the difference between a local news channel and a national news channel? Apparently she recorded footage of the (probably also now fired) sales manager of Fox 26 telling how the CDC is buying ads pushing the covid crap, and from what I gather (the sales manager couldn't put two coherent sentences together), the CDC is outbidding other advertisers. These purchases are affecting the news content

    oh and since the lot is close to full, it's now $100 for parking plus a $50 service fee... But all you did is print out a ticket! Exactly..... And btw, the off duty cop security guard will search your vehicle before you can enter the parking out... He thinks he's on duty 24/7, and he will manhandle you if you object....

    They did this in the early 90's. It was dated then. So, imagine my shock and horror as I switched planes at one of the airports in Dallas and saw the exact same "decor" in the terminal. I think it was an American Airlines terminal at DFW.

    I would do soil samples of that lot before proceeding any further, that's where Pick A Part used to be. It's probably a toxic waste dump from all the motor oil and other assorted automotive fluids spilled there

    the windows at The Houstonian do not open, the Warwick Towers has balconies. I lived at The Sussex, a 55 year old problem-filled 16 floor commie block, it's windows opened. So, it's building by building.
