My thinking as well. It'll probably be a Skyline Cafe like the one in Hines' 717 Texas Building. They sell food, but stock some convenient store type things too. It'll probably close at 4:00 and not be open on weekends.

Hmmm - me likes a lot! That photo with the Huntingdon in the background really accentuates the angle of the west side. I can't remember, will this be taller than the Huntingdon? Yeah, where's the tree? They need to bring that tradition back. I can remember all of the trees topping all of the new buildings of the 80's.

Sage Plaza: Proposed Multifamily High-Rise On San Felipe St.

Where is this going to be exactly? Now, back to trees... I like what they've done downtown. There are cypress on one block, sycamore on another and water oak on another, etc.- 31 replies

Ooops, I read it wrong (I'm one of "them" too). I plan to check out the 24 soon and will consider joining. I don't have the discipline to do it at home.

It would help if they would take down that Shamrock sign on the site!

Eeewww Actually, it was nicknamed "Fluid Exchange". Even though it was primarily a gay gym, there was a zero tolerance policy on such behavior. Anyway, they're not in Montrose anymore. I think they're over toward the Heights now. "Those People" - Whatever Dude.

Is this where you are sent when you've been bad? I think you mean retention, as in a retention pond which "retains" excess flood water until finally and slowly running off. LOL- 960 replies

Because that building is falling apart and has been for years. I certainly doubt Chevron will put a parking lot there; maybe a parking garage. It would be nice to have some greenspace on that end of town also. I know, I know, the other lot they have is partially a surface lot, but I think it was purchased as such.

The new location is a stone's throw from Midtown (if you can throw a rock over or under the Pierce Elevated). I personally think that having a new, state-of-the-art facility wins over having another surface lot. If you look at it this way, this move promotes potential development on two blocks downtown. Also, I don't know why people go all negative on a design when the renderings provided are so limited.

There are places at street level in TMC. I'm sure many get employee discounts at their respective hospital cafeterias. What's that place up on Chelsea? I think it's one of those all-you-can eat Argentinian meat places, like Fogo.

Good Lord, what is wrong with people? No, it's not for swimming and the colorful entrances to the parking garage are not for climbing on. I've heard that they will be planting lilys and other vegitation in the lake. Maybe the should throw in a few water moccasins!

I wonder how they will fit the proposed HEB at Buffalo, between Westpark and Bissonnet. I know that Molina's is moving and Luby's has been gone for a while. Still, I can't see it.

I like the pictures of the actual building too. However, what happened to all of the buildings behind them? Our tallest building has mysteriously vanished.

It's Bray's Bayou, N & S Braeswood Blvds., Braeswood Place, Braes Blvd. Water gets a y and stone gets an e. However, I'm not sure why.

Wow, they're really making progress. What are those big green pipes sticking out of the ground? They weren't there last month.

Who's to say that people are not going to venture past Brazos from the Montrose? I mean, come on, that area is already densely populated. More apts in Midtown will only add to the 'Mix'. It would be nice if 'they' would do something with lower Westheimer (new sidewalks and such).

Basketball? Why is that girl in front holding two bats and a softball?
